He was born in New York and was raised in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Around the age of 12 Seven and his mother packed up and moved to Miami, Florida due to the lack of jobs in P.R. With a Christian background he and his mother began going to church. Various talent shows and events at church helped him better his skills as a writer and performer.
